Yes, you can trust it. It feels soft to the touch, and the details are well processed, just the same in the picture. It’s worth the price. Because it was my first doll and because I was and still travel across states often, I chose a smaller model. Having her pose is easy for me but even being a shorter model she is heavier than you would first expect. I would say ordering with the standing feet option is essential for posing and the articulated finger have lasted well.
